The primary objective of this course is to develop students’ capability to be effective leaders and
communicators. Drawing upon the field of organizational behavior and communication, the
course examines an individual’s effectiveness on three levels: developing the manager from the
inside out, working effectively with diverse teams and communicating effectively in
organizations. The course sharpens written, oral and listening skills to meet the demands of a
successful managerial communicator.
